Businesses Comitted to Conservation

Becoming an official "Cool Shop" shows your community that you are doing your part to conserve energy, and improve the quality of your environment.

To become branded as an official Cool Shop, businesses listed on the following pages participated with:

• a free on-site energy audit,
• installation of 2 free compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), and
• LED exit light bulb replacements
• free receipt and installation of a pre-rinse spray valve (if a restaurant)

The businesses also benefited from:

• discounts off energy efficient products (CFLs, T8s, LED exit sign lights, etc)
• free marketing through window/door branding decal, exposure on Cool Shops website, and in local and national newspapers and magazines if they went on to purchase more energy efficient products.
